Look at you little one you are tired already!
The road ahead is tough, you best be ready.
All that came was from working and trying,
Don't waste your time complaining and crying.
What's the big hurry, be patient and calm
Nothing is decided by the lines on your palm.
Fear has come to test you, do not crumble,
You can shake the world and make hell rumble!
Control your anger little one, your soul it will destroy
If you let people control you, you will be nothing but a toy.
Get up little one! No time to be lazy
Overthinking things will only make your vision hazy.
Its time for you to wake up from your slumber,
Why do you cry over school grades, scared of just a number?
Learn how to interact. learn how to communicate
The world is a hard place, don't be so delicate.
I told you not to be lazy, did not say to overdo it.
Learn to be consistent, learn the right way to do it.
Remember all the things you have seen and all the places you have been,
Always stay true and keep your thoughts clean.
Remember what your elders said, the scolding more than the praise
You will have to face the waves that your actions raise.
Be confident, be calm and don't sweat it.
If there is something you want, work hard and go get it.
This is my advice to you my younger self, keep it in mind,
Look at the road ahead and leave the past behind.
