Its not the situation, its your attitude,

Nothing can bring you down if you greet each day with gratitude.

God woke you up today, you are lucky!

Accept everything with a smile, don't be too picky.

Never whine, never complain

Embrace victory and embrace pain.

Look around, happiness is plenty!

The list of your blessings, and the list of people without them, both are very lengthy.

Thank you god for each breath, thank you for vision,

Whatever god has planned, it will be the best decision.

Thank you god for hearing our prayers, thank you for the pain

Thank you for each drop of water, thank you for each grain.

Thank you for giving us a family, thank you for the roof over our head,

we could sleep on the floor too, but you gave us a wonderful bed.

Thank you for this body, where our souls reside,

Thank you for the calm sea, thank you for the tide.

Thank you for all the smiles, thank you for the tears

Every step taken on the path god clears.

Thank you for strength, thank you for confidence,

Thank you for mercy, for your benevolence.

Thank you for what was, what is and what is to come,

You gave us so much, you only took some.

I have no desire, nothing to ask for,

Whatever I needed, you have always given me more.
