Its not my cup of tea.

I would not socialize, even if I was being payed a fee,

I don't know, its just not my cup of tea.

People gladly approaching me, I don't know what to say,

Even after rattling my brain, all I get out is "Hey".

People scoop up judgements, like fish by a netter.

Why would I talk with people, when animals are so much better.

I am never judged by a dog, Never hated by a cat,

The dog keeps me safe and the cat got rid of the rat.

Others solve the calculations, working like a bee,

I keep scratching my head, math is not my cup of tea.

The numbers make me tired, the symbols cast a spell,

What is the value of x? There is just no way to tell!

Solved one real quick, turned out to be a fluke,

Suddenly all other questions attack me like a nuke.

Guess what I was doing, when the teacher taught the sum,

I was writing this poem, never stopping to hum.

They might seem cute, laughing with glee,

But children are just not my cup of tea.

Its not like I hate them, but dislike I sure do,

I wanna talk about life, all they know is 'the cow goes moo'.

Its fun to play when they crawl, not so fun when they learn to walk,

They chase you all day, play and play, no time to talk.

They won't sit still, they are just so hyper,

Hell meets earth, when you need to change their diaper.

All this will be part of life, when its taking shape,

No matter how far you run, there is no escape.

I guess I can meditate to let my mind be free,

What do I do? Meditating is not my cup of tea.
