Memories

You cannot count the grains in granaries,

you cannot count those beautiful memories.

Bored and tired I call my good friend,

We talk about those days, it just cannot end!

Cleaning my room I found an old toy,

and I remembered those simple days of joy.

I had no worries when I was 8 years old,

Whatever you say, those times were gold.

I open the pictures in my phone,

"Hey mom! remember the time I broke my bone!"

I remember the first time I travelled through a plane,

I remember joy and I remember pain.

Memories are timeless treasures of our hearts,

I remember so many pieces and parts.

I remember me and my sister fighting over petty things,

Its funny how many feelings one memory brings.

Memories we remember memories we forget,

We regret the moments gone but never count the memories we get.

I remember for the first time going to the cinema

Cheese popcorn or butter popcorn was life's only dilemma.

Things might go bad and scare you, it might,

This will all be a memory one day, its going to be all right.

Moments become memories, people become the past,

Live each day to the fullest, It might be your last.

Not much time to rest, life has a quick flow,

Moments and opportunities might pass by and you won't even know.

If I could, I would store my memories in a jar,

Don't think you are tired, think of the memories you made coming this far.

That's the end for this poem, hope you read it and felt good,

If you feel down today, think of the happier times, it might improve your mood.
